REED BOATS
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a photo of the prow of two reed boats and its reflection on the water. I took this when I visited the floating reed islands in Lake Titicaca.
Lake Titicaca is located on the border of Bolivia and Peru. It sits 3,812 m (12,507 ft) above sea level making it the highest commercially navigable lake in the world. By volume of water it is also the largest lake in South America.
Another photo of these reed boats may be seen in the Workshop.

Hello Andre,
Reed boats from Lake Titicata that I recognize from my trip to the island. A wonderful composition with such clarity and reflection. I really like the monochromatic tones. A very powerful image! The lighting is amazing. This could be a travel poster for Peru.
Well done!
