Ballestas Islands



The peninsula of Paracas is one of the largest marine reserves in our country, housing more than 200 types of birds and a variety of aquatic species.
Composed of a paradise island where inhabit many other species of seabirds such as pelicans, sea hawks and curious penguin of Humboldt and many others. This beautiful aquatic join the inhabitants of the reserve that includes large groups of Dolphins and Sea Wolves.


The reserve of Paracas is a huge protected area at the southern town of Paracas Pisco.A word means in quechua (Falling Sand), this island was so named because every afternoon does much to stir the wind across the sand . The reserve of Paracas is located in an area of 335,000 hectares, which forms one of the most important ecosystems on our planet. The reserve of Paracas is also very important to the planet because that inhabit its waters in a variety of fish by fishing that provides food for the people of Pisco and the capital of Lima Peru.

Nice capture of this bunch of birds, I think the colour of the background is too pale, this white is not the best soluton for that. But otherwise, it's a sharp and detailed nature composition, TFS!

The birds stand out quite nicely against the white background,
it takes the eye a second to ajust and then the whole composition falls in well together giving the birds the spotlight.
