[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This lagoon is an enormous pool made by the turbulente waters of the Carrao River. The first thing wich attracts one's attention while navigating is the foam which adorns the surface of the lagoon and the peculiar color of its waters; black in the deepest parts, and yellowish-red near the banks.this singular coloring is due to the concentration of fulvous and humic acids, a product of the vegetal decomposition in river headwaters. The foam which forms in the waterfalls comes from saponin, a substance derived from the decomposition of vegetal material.
In the distance tepuys Kurùn, Venado, and Kuravaina work as the backdrop for this magnificent aquatic amphitheater.

(sorry for the shoe in the sand...)

Hi Ronny, sharpness and clarity, excellent. Would be better to place horizon in upper or lower third. Excellent note and I love the bg waterfall! TFS.

Hi Ronny,

Good capture, the people on this shot give it a sense of dimension, those trees are huge... very nice and well done, TFS
