This is a shot of a sunset in the Gran Sabana. The lower portion corresponds to plains; the upper dark portion corresponds to clouds. I just found the colors amazing.
From the Lonely Planet Guide on Venezuela:
"The Gran Sabana, a rolling grassy highland in Venezuela's far southeastern corner, is vast, wild, beautiful, empty and silent.
The most striking feature dominating teh skyline of the Gran Sabana are gigantic flat-topped mountains called tepuis. The most known of the tepuis is tehe Roraima which takes at least 5 days to the top and back. There are some other sights which are easier to visit, such as the amazing waterfalls. |

Hi Yvonne,
Good photo, but the power lines are a bit distracting. the colours are very nice and the composition is good.

Hi Yvonne, lovely sunset shot you got there, great colours, clear and sharp, a few suggestion if you don't mind. The Power line... you can always clone it out, then I will crop out most of the top and bottom part as it will draw our eyes more focus to your sunset. Just my personal opinion. :D
