A shot from Tortuguillo Sur, one of the 4 small islands composing the archipel of La Tortuga, in the Venezuelan Caribbean. Water is almost emerald green here, sand is almost white. I loved the contrast between the color of the water and the color of the rainy cloud. La Tortuga is definitively a place to visit, although you have to be very careful if you have sensitive skin: there is no shadow anywhere. There are no buildings or facilities, either, so you have to camp or you can sleep on a yacht.
I increased contrast and sharpness, reduced gamma and resized. |

Hi Yvonne,
I like this image, especially the contrast between the white sands and green/blue waters and the dark sky. I think the post processing introduced some noise though, can you see it in th clouds? Sometimes I use an application called neat Image to reduce noise - it works well. Still, a lovely image, wish I was there now and not on cold, wet Ireland!

Hi Yvonne,
Nice shot, I like the clarity of the water, strong contrast, I like the ccmposition too, I hope you didn't walk all the way into the water to get this shot. :P but pity there are noise in the photo, maybe a noise removal program will do the trick?
Cheers,
Sweety
