[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Theme was challenging because is not easy
photograph food, and in B/W is really hard.
In the past I tried two or three times in color,
but the results were poor.
The past Tuesday my wife cooked spaghetti with
a sauce based on chicken, as usual it was
delicious, and I hope that at least it looks
good for you.
I captured it in color and converted to B/W
with PS using the channel mixer option.
The red channel was adjusted to 40
the green to 50
the blue to 10
and the constant to -6
Finaly I painted with black some areas of the
backgrond.

Ciao Mario

Classic. I'm not a big spaghetti fan, but the wine looks good ;p Your composition is pretty neat here, the spaghetti probably wouldn't be able to stand on its own but with the whole gang in there, it looks classic in B/W. Molto bene, amico.

Esther

Hello Mario

I think you have done very well here. it is difficult to make a meal look good in B.W and you have certainly managed to do that. the emphasis here is more on the glasses than the food as they are more sharply detailed but its the whole view overall that counts and its a very neatly composed shot. I think I might have moved the chair from behind the table as it draws the eye through the shot to look at it but aside from that I think its a very nice capture.

TFS and for joining in with the theme

kind regards Helen

Hi Mario, the glass and the bottle have'grabbed' the focus but an excellent addition to the theme. Wellconverted and the adddition of the black has added good contrast,
David
