| This photo was taken in a Living History Museum near Ribe in Denmark. It shows a species, that has been saved from extinction. Unfortunately I forgot the name of this species. Can anybody help? |

I don't know the species, but I sure am going to research and find out. What a beautiful rooster. He resembles the "fighing cocks" that is illegally done in some Southern States where they literally "fight to the death" for gambling bets. I think it is cruel and inhumane and much is being done to put a stop to it. This is a wonderful capture and a nice post...
