[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Street organs are automatic pipe (or reed) organs designed for outdoor use. They were first seen in the early 19th century in eastern and western Europe and quickly migrated to the Americas. Each country has its own organ traditions and, despite electronics and radio, these continue to this day.
When roaming through the harbour I saw a whole 'flock' (4) of street organs. A whole family, brothers, uncle, mother, nephew, were there. They invited me for a beer, (01.00 PM, and I hardly had breakfast!). We had a nice talk, accompanied by the music of the organ. They take such good care of their organs, everything is shining, even the tyres are cleaned and black. Amazing!. It was fun, though, and a very surprising meeting in the harbour region!

Nice composition ! I like the contrast between the "warm" wood and the "cold" drum. Everything is sharp and clear. Nice shot !

Nice detail well captured. i like the basic mechanics displayed, they look like big mouse traps? Great shot.

A fantastic framing on details... I first wondered what it could be - De onderste "dingetjes" lijken net muizenvalletjes ;o) - The image is sharp and the light is warm. Veeeeery good Rinie!

very nice picture Rinie..graphic and neat..I loved its colors and textures...because of contrasting tones I thought it could be very good in monochrome too..I tried a ws just to share..:)
