[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken just after sunset and there really was a violet glow in the sky (which can actually be seen above the blue), and this was again reflected in the water. The house is a boat house and summer house (no longer in use) in a small cove on the eastern shore of Mallorca.

The strange light is also the result of the long exposure time. To get this for want of a tripod I had to rest the camera on a dustbin on the beach and set the timer. The light was fading fast and I only got one chance with those clouds.
