Llanberis Pass. Llanberis is almost due north of Beddgelert, the two are linked by spectacular mountain passes. From Llanberis the pass runs south-east, with a classic mountain road winding its way through the boulder-strewn slopes of Snowdon. Climbers can be seen testing their skills on the fearsome rock slabs (the training ground for the first successful, British, ascent of Everest) which line the pass. Pen-y-Pass, at the road's summit, is the starting point for two popular walks to the top of Snowdon.

Lovely view. Good composition and lighting. I like that dramatic sky. Well done.

Beautiful...winter without snow...but i feel it, it is very nice how you managed to do that.

I love the view:)

I love the tones and atmosphere here. Did you add some gaussian blur with multiply to a layer here? Whatever you did, I really like the clear, yet misty feel to things. Nice point of view, too.

Terrific landscape Mark, great composition and dramatic sky. What kit are you using?

Peter

A favourite place of mine here Mark, And your shot brings back all the lovely memories of North Wales for me. Great composition and a nice threatening sky, as per usual for Wales :) Nice work

Very good work!

take care, Stef :))

Great photo, well composed and the lighting is perfect.

Has a painterly feel and good atmosphere with great lighting. the one thing that disturbs me is the rock in the foreground. being light in colour it draws the eye and it doesn't look sharp.
