Whether hiding behind:
a business suit,
a straight face,
a cold stare,
a stern stature,
or even an adult-like shoe...

...buried inside every women, at different depths, is the desire to release her inner child.

I had thought of this idea, the "inner child", last night. I was reflecting, and noticed that most of the women I meet, once they become comfortable with me, start to let their "inner child" show. On occasion, they allow themselves to giggle and act immature, like they did when they were little girls.

I'm going through a similar stage in my life. I'm an adult, a volunteer, a University student, and a mature woman in general. But still, there are traces of the goofy girl that I was when I was 13. That is how I arrived at my idea.

Well, I had a good time getting all of my old, bright coloured nail polishes out from hibernation. So, I turned on the t.v., painted my toes, set up a white bristol board, positioned a 2x500W work lamp, sat on the floor, and started to experiment.

By the way, "ALDO" should pay me for advertising!

Hilarious post! Great idea. I can just picture you in a business suit with those silly toenails hidden away while you are laughing inside. I hope you keep this inner child going when you're out in the working world!

I think it's a picture very sensual.

Aldo does woderfull nails! What i like is the first image would sugest something classic.. And in second... Surprise!! Full of colors :)

Just love it! Cute idea about the inner child thingy and the colourful nail polish. Nice you were able to put your thoughts into a photographic scene. Isn't the worklamp cool, but as you found out it gets soooooo hot!

Shoes, shoes, shoes - something a girl never has enough of! Nice shot of cutzie-footzie's colorful toes and formal stilletoes.

The whole conception and carrying out of this is really great, Linda.
Such clean looking images, with shadows that compliment, rather than distract, as so often can be the case.
I like how you chose to not make the photos the same size. This adds a certain charm to the combination.
