[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is alien, it is different, it is odd and its a no no land for a child... the adult's world. No no for everything that you wished to do. It was a serious ceremony and she wanted to dance. How could any performance be better than hers? She ignored censorious glances, she defied whispered warnings and stood in defiance against collective disapproval. And finally she had her way and she danced.

Il ne faut pas être enfant pour se perdre dans le monde des adultes !!!
Très belle prise de vue, pleine de vie et de douceur …

A great composition to present your story of the girl who wanted to dance. The two men do look like they are disaproving her and she has such an expectant expression on her face as she really want to start dancing and does not understand why these men are so serious. Life should not be serious. Excellent picture!

This is a fabulous portrait of a child's viewpoint, especially with the background story and their expressions and hers. Her colourful outfit and the white floor and background is great as well. I'm so pleased she got to dance!

Don't know how i missed this one earlier. This is so well captured. I think the light in the background gives it just the right feel. You got this one dot on. very expressive ( all natural) and so much said. Good one.

I adore this picture and the way you tell your stories.

Très bon titre pour cette image qui en dit long sur l'interrogation de l'enfant. Couleurs douces et belle lumière...
