took this photo and then changed it to black and white and added the lyrics to the song "Valentine" by Martina McBride.. felt those lyrics were appropriate for this time of year..

Critiques [Translate]

Interesting concept, but maybe you should have choose only a specific quote from the lyrics, in order to make it lighter. Also, maybe change the color or the way to put the text on the photo to avoid having "too much" in it. Finally, I would crop the left part of the photo (the white part).

Good photo and concept.

Darkening in some extent the clear left side would be less distracting of the good face expression.

I like this idea, but I think the photo would've been quite great on its own. I think the B&W is perfect. Who is this handsome person?

A beautiful idea has been composed tri-color composition. The background image in monochrome is also nicely shot. Good perspective.
