| Looking down on the famous Old Harry Beach considered the finest on the Magdalen Islands. Grosse-Ile's 6-mile-long Old Harry Beach was site of walrus hunts throughout the 17th and 18th centuries.Europeans, who came here to cull the herd for the oil in the animals' dense fat, found basking walruses piled atop one another. By 1799, the herd had been wiped out. The beach is peaceful, clean, and family-friendly. |

Beau paysage Denis. Ça fait du bien de voir une photo d'été alors que ça tourne autour du -20 celcius ici. J'Aime beaucoup les couleurs ainsi que la composition avec ce pont en perspective et le personnage qui regarde vers l'horizon.

I love beaches! I guess that is why I choose to live on an island. This is a beautiful composition, with the boardwalk inviting the viewer into the image and the figure adding a touch of vibrant life to an otherwise static image. It makes me want to be there, to walk out onto that lovely beach.
I just love this photo.
Nice perspective, mild and friendly colours. The bright jacket of the man standing on a bridge contrasts with pastel colours and therefore the picture escapes monotony. It has a soothing effect, a really nice view one can look at for hours.
