What a stately stance this very regal cat has. The altertness in his face, and that hunting pose has been captured first class.
Love the way the snow is on his body, he must have enjoyed his winter exploration..... my cat also thinks she is a dog, and rummages through the snow.

Ooo, another cat shot was my first thought - I wonder when TrekCat will be announced? Then I looked at it and thought, wow, this is actually really good! You've done very well to capture her against the snow, and I love the composition with her filling the frame but almost with a "wild" appearance. That's one classy cat!

Technically you've done very well to capture detail against the snow, but I think you can bring out a little more with contrast masking - since I liked this shot so much I thought I'd do you a little Workshop, I hope you like it :-)

Hi Jean Michel, a lovely picture of beautiful Uscha. I too once had a cat and a German Sheperd; once they laid side by side, the dog yawned and the cat put his head in the dog's beak. Believe it or not! I'm still sorry that I didn't have a camera ready, but the "photo" is still engraved in my mind...

I don't think you need any more points,but I give you anyway. Well now! This a REAL Norwegian Forest Cat. Very rare in America, we have Maine Coons instead. Our Maine Coon, Lumpy is however doesn't like snow at all and isn't a very good hunter. Last time he even ran away from a squirrel. Janos
