Aspect.

Smaller and thinner than a pigeon with rosy-brown plumage of color sand. Its colouring is clearer and more uniform that that of the turtle-dove of wood. The collar around the neck, which is worth its name to him (growing Turkish) is black with white ends. This black and white half collar misses in the young people. The wings are mottled of black. In flight, the blanchâtres ends and the white lower part of the tail, contrasts with the brown body clearly.

hi laurent.thanks for information..in istanbul (my city) there is a lot of Streptopelia decaocto. They really sweet birds and they are more domestic than pigeons..

Très bien capturé cette tourterelle, j'entends presque sont doux roucoulement triste. Les couleurs sont superbes avec une excellente netteté. Très bien réussi.
