Portrait, very processed. The hair was looking good that day. If you have long hair sleep on it damp in bundles under your neck to get the 'tousled look'!

Steps:
-Desaturated
-lighten + contrast
-Hair wasn't manipulated except for random strands added. (woot)
-Bra erased
-Parts of the hand drawn in

Hi Zoe,

Nice portrait. I like this over-exposed b&w, with a touch of colours in lips and eyes (b&w or desaturated colours? doesn't matter, wonderful). Nice pose and nice model. Well PP worked.

tfs,

ferran

hello Zoe,
Yes, the hair here is quite fantastic with the tousled look and the different highlights giving it definition against the rest of mainly high key image.
The slightly colored lips and eye add a nice sublte touch to your expression.
That look in your eye is quite engaging especially with that small glint/gleam in your eye.
Great pose adding a nice sensualness to the shot along with the hair, lips and eye.
Very interesting piece of artistry.
Great self portrait and processing.

take care,
~Michael~

ps. I have an idea for a Workshop with cropping. I'll try to upload in the next day or so if possible.

Wow Zoe!
Great b/w portrait, very expressive pose, I like the way when the hair was closed half of face, it lucky idea...
TFS and best wishes,
Elena

I like the way you look.. intense... the way your hair are around your head, you is great.... Bravo!
Fred

Tres hot Zoe. I wish I could do a shot like that for you! lol. I think a partial crop would help. Great stuff.

Are you sure Zoe, about your age...
This photo seems to be produced by someone rather mature (...and I mean in photography field).
Great work. (and matured, shall I add?).

It's intense! Powerfull hair composition with nice arrangement for the face with just a subtile touch of color where it needs. The so white effect is greatfull!

Beautiful potrait

I really like the contrasts here, also how you've left a tiny bit of colour left in her lips and eyes.

Nice work ;)

very nice potrait. like the B&W contrast. TFS.

Great work, Zoe! The high-key parts agains your dark hair is really great! However a tighter crop may work as well! Just like Michael's :) See workshop! Congrats for the pic!
cheers

Very nice capture Zoe. Sensual and engaging. The subtle colour draws the eye nicely. Keep up the good work.

Nice pic girl, I need a good cam Im sick of my disposible one. I would like to take pics like this with a good cam.

Well done young man, this is quite an evocative image, and I like it! Remember the rule that eludes me at the moment; however it has something to do with not being seduced by the central point of focus, so with this photograph the model should have been positioned a tadge more to the left. Cheers Gazza

Hi Zoe,

Sensational self-portrait, I love the the use of black and white with a tinge of colour. The photo seems to portray both innocence and intrigue, and even an artistic freedom! This is honestly one of the best portraits I've seen, and I usually don't like excessively photo-shopped photos, but you really had a good hand at crafting this shot into what it is. And yes your hair really does look great in the shot especially with those slight specs of light on it, which adds to the intrigue part of the shot, tousled hair suits you. :)

Great work!

Biance.

i agree with everything biance has said about this photo, at first, it seems like a 'topless' shot... but then i read about the bra and how you erased it, you have done it very intelligently and with elegance :) i mean its not looking cheap, its rather looking like a fine art, almost-nude self portrait :)

the post processing is well done, i like blacks to be blacks and whites white in b/w photos :) you've managed that very well here :)

on top of all these, i love the workshop by biance :) and of course, your note :)

keep up the good work :) do more black and whites, pratice more photos with little post processing :)

thanks for sharing :)
