O.K., it looks like a poor show, our carnival. This is indeed the history of the outfit. Poor people couldn't effort to spent more money so they took the daily things to decorate and they still do here in Bergen op Zoom.

Regenpijpen staan altijd scheef; het moest verboden worden in plaats van dat zeuren over hondenpoep.
Gordijnen en oude spullen; morgen weer in de was en opnieuw aan de rails of op tafel. Zo armoedig als de Sinterklaas van Toon Hermans.
