| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The large bell-shaped or lily-like flowers of the amaryllis (Hippeastrum species) and its hybrids make excellent garden and potted plants. They are available in a wide range of flower colors including red, white, pink, orange, salmon or bicolored and typically have two to six flowers per stalk. Most of the bulbs sold are either Dutch or South African grown hybrids that will flower without special treatment when first purchased. See previously posted notes for more information.
Yesterday I posted a HPP image of the same picture. I though you might like to see the original. It was taken indoors. I have resized it, ajusted the contrast a tiny bit and added a frame. |

Hi Morag,
Nice compo, with a very nice colours. The texture and the BG works well. I think the frame is no needed, and is a little bit disturbing, but the phot is excellent. Good work!
Regards,
ferran
