I could stay hours looking at a horse galoping in a field, changing pace, stopping, starting again with a flow of energy.
If you want to get close to the horse click here
Don't worry he won't bite, but make sure not to walk straight in front of him because he won't see you until maybe the last minute and could be scard, walk from an angle slowly, stop, then walk again. You might even let him get close to you. Then when he is near you, you can slowly blow in his nostrils, it's the way horses recognized themselve. Then stroke him gently on his collar, he will like this. You might decide then to walk away from him slowly but don't be surprised then if he follows you. This is one of the first exercices that you will do when starting to get around horses. A way to get acquainted to the horse and create a bond.

Beau montage. Photographie d'action très réussite. Bravo.

Very nice work, Nina! We have a horse, too; it's fun. I've been trying "horse whisperer" techniques on it lately. I like the four image series, but I do kind of wish that each photo showed some aspect of the horse that was totally different from the others.

Hi Nina. This photo is very beautiful (The large version is excelent). I like the sequence. Well done.

Great series. I've switched over to a digital camera lately, and find I can't take quite as many pictures as I could with my old motor driven SLR.

This is a great sequence. I wish there were a couple more in the interior... then we could make a bit of a movie!

The colors are nice, with the fall/winter starkness of the trees providing a wonderful backdrop to the power and grace of the horse.

Very nice job!

muito bom mesmo

There are few things as beautiful as a horse in motion. Power. Grace. Beauty. Great series, you got it all!

Bonjour Nina. Beau travail!
