[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture gives me the "after school" feeling. Our room is abundant with afternoon sunlight that I love taking pictures of. I submitted this to our instructor as one of our assignments, the theme being lines. He said I can emphasize more on the shadows by metering using the bright wall, in this case, the shadows will appear darker. I will try his suggestion and post the photo soon.

Lorie, I see that you are fascinated also by the effect of sunlight and their shadows. Me too! I like the way you chose to shoot the chair, and saw the beauty in the shadows created by the sunlight. I like your teachers suggestion of metering using the bright wall. I must also try that next time. Keep up the good work. It's nice seeing your photos.

Good shot! Again, BW will be more powerful. If you do use Photoshop you can improve the contrast by using curves.

Good idea and great angle. May be a B&W would be poweful, as suggested my Manny, but those warm color tones and lines inspire me, something like a sunny Sunday morning.

Lorie, you have a very good eycatching for great photos... although I think BW would be more effective in this capture.
Keep the excellent work.
