Not quite 'The Beach Boys' but you do have a beach in this one and I didn't bother. I also waited for a decent sunset but it didn't come. You have the beach GIRLS, which is better in one way.
Content and composition great but you KNOW that I hate white frames ;)

Great photo. The golden colors are really beautiful. Excellent POV and good idea to keep the sun behind the tree. The kids really seem to enjoy the last few minutes of sun on the beach. Their shades are really long.

hey sam!
this photograph you've captured reminds me of the lazy days of summer, when i was a kid. now that i've grown up and am in university, summer is just a time to work and have some time to enjoy myself with friends.

in fact i wouldn't mind going somewhere warm and nice for a change during the winter time to catch the nice feel of the warmth.

the composition feels to me like a classic capture of a summertime.

Children playing on a beach always make for great picture. Nicely done to use the sunset to give it a very nice golden tone. Excellent!

P.S. We visited Costa Rica in 1988 and truly enjoyed it. We should really go back!

It looks too perfect to be real, but looks like an artist has been at work....well a photographic artist has!! The clouds are really beautiful with that grey-purple-gold look and the figures of the two girls add the human touch. The composition couldn't be better. TFS

The sunlight and the beautiful colours are lovely. I see the sky was very creative that day for you Sam. I like that there are two people on the beach which adds a nice human element to this gorgeous scene. Lucky you to visit this country. The composition is excellent.

Superb image Sam. I'm not sure how you achieved such an interesting quality of light. Looks very much like a painting. The diagonal line of the sand creates a dynamic effect. Great work.

I do not always like people in a picture, only when they are useful and here they surely are !
The children (well composed) bring joy in this picture but it's not only these children, this is also a beautiful nature-shot with a wonderful light giving the also wonderful colours, very, very well done, Sam !

Wonderful catch Sam, the sun throws such a beautiful shade of gold onto the whole scene, it's basically angelic. Great catch really, you caught nature in all her glory. :)

This is a master piece.
Very well composed, using a super wide angel lense has made it an art shot!
I love your POV which showed a gold yellow light to cover all the picture.
