Wonderful action shot Mario. A perfect capture of this pretty coloured bird. I haven't seen a bird capture like this before with the wing stretched high up. That sure is a fine lens to capture this kind of shot. I have been taking a look at a web site called Bird Forum recently and admiring all the shots of beautiful birds. Very, very nice.
I love it. I have to add it to my favourites.

i love the way you were able to capture the birds flapping wings!

the colours here mario serve a great purpose, but the clarity and pov are by far more important to the overall composition and you've done a good job capturing this little bird!

Alright, I will join the crowd to say it is a fantastic shoot ! It makes the bird look like he is acting as a cartoon character.

Wow! What a wonderful capture, spot on sharpness and the catch light in the eye from the flash is excellent. I will have to target these sparrows in the future, they make a great subject.
