To follow on the silly mood of yesterday.
Was taken in the Myrar, west of Iceland, just under the Snaefelsnes peninsula. To explain the shot, let's set the situation... We cycled a couple of days with a lot of rain, a strong front-wind, and it was cold. Well, plain enough we were to follow the wind and not struggle with him and hopelessly fight against him. So we had to find somehow a road that was going in the same direction as this crazy wind. To do so, we had to cycle 11 kilometers with the wind on the left side on the main road in Iceland, with our bikes jumping from left to right and the cars speeding so close I tought I was going to have my pants cut into shorts... It was scary, and unpleasant. It seemed to last forever, untill we reached a small road going northward just as this bloody wind. Then our lives changed. We were speeding north without even really cycling, making like 35 kilometers an hour hardly breathing - and I made a whole set of pictures from the bike, which explains the stupid framing of this one! You have to figure out what it is to pilot a bike which weights like 60 kilos on a slightly slopped road with a wind a your back strong enough to put you to the ground when you happen to stop to have a bite... It was a crazy day!

Check there and look for the "photos" section for more images.

Any comment welcome !

Cheers folks.

Nice expression, the land in the background just looks windy, no trees buildings or anything to stop the wind.

I like croping, very odd, and creative. The perspective of the road is also good. Thanks for sharing your joy, and happy new year to you!
Cheers,
Marcie
