[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was trying to catch some people in Lviv and came across this perfect subject. On the busiest street of the city, there is some parking spots which are extremely scarce in the center of the city. And this lady is giving out the parking tickets. She was looking who will receive the next one at the moment...
PP - some contrast/brightness and hue/saturation adjustment + frame.

Nice moment catched in the good time, perfect timing.

Very good depth of field too. I may regret that colors are a bit faint but otherwise it is very good.

Probably one of the most disliked professions out there, everyone needs a job and I won't pass judgement on those who do work at jobs such as these, but they do seem to be rather cunning with the giving out for tickets. Their always on the prowl and as soon as you park in one spot and even go for just a minute, they'll likely catch you and leave a ticket on your car.

great desaturation here and focus on the ticket officer, the vertical works well, although I'm debating whether cropping out the mcdonalds umbrela would have made this better or not...

well done, nice shot, and good subject. I hope it wasnt you she was eyeing for a ticket...TFS...james

Hi Yarema,
Very well composed shot and brilliant timing. The DoF really makes us focus on the main subject. I like the desaturation. I can see the point Bartek was trying to make about the McDondonalds ubrella. This would in my opinion make a technically better photograph, but would also loose some of it's, well, 'everydayness' charm. I'm glad you chose not to crop it out. Great expression captured on her face too!
Well done,
Jako

Lawyers, dentists - and parking ticket issuers. Our all-time top three most hated people, despite the fact that she is quite sweet-looking!
Spot-on moment and I do like ALL the content, even the McDonalds parasol, the passer-by and the car containing a disgruntled motorist. It's a street scene and they are ALWAYS interesting to us from outside your area.
Desaturated is good for me.
A definite full green award.

Very good capture of daily life scene, Yarema. Nicely composed with the main focus on the young lady with her attentive look for her next victim. The car behind her give context to her profession and the passer-by behind is also good. I could go either way with the inclusion of the Mcdonald sign. I think that without it makes a different picture but not necessarily a better or worst one just different. The inclusion of it provides some additional context to the city life of Lviv. Well done!

yeah, nasty lady! luckily I was driving too fast for her to catch me

jaco

Hello Yarema, this is a good catch yourself :)

Good thinking at the right time. Good composition and I like the monochromatic tones.

Very well done. Yan :)

Hi Yarema,
Great capture, well presented.
Thanks for posting.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

That's what policemen (women) do most their time and we drivers just keep giving them victims...ourselves.
Nice catch.

This guys are always the same all over the world. It's their job.
good idea to desaturate it and concentrate all the attention in the lady, but allowing to see the context she moves. Good composition.
Best regards
Jacobo

I like your photo. It has a good depth of field and the slight coloring is a nice touch.

Thank you for your comments on my photo, "Two Red Cars" I appeciate it.

hi Yarema, nice subject. ..lol! Your narrow DOF works well here. Good urban shot

Hello Yarema, lovely idea this photograph. This parking attendant looks like she is looking directly at you thinking shall i stick a parking ticket on the camera ;-) It also makes me think of the Beatles melody

“Lovely Rita meter maid
may I inquire discreetly
When are you free to take some tea with me”

Cheers Gareth

The expression of the agent is interesting. It is as if it sought, indeed. I like the shade behind, as if somebody tried to hide.

B%#@&!!!

What a useless job. Well caught!

Hi Yarema,
Nice real life photo. You did well to capture this. I can see that McDonalds has invaded Ukrain too.

Hello Yarema,
Well captured!
Universal situation, I'm afraid... Sometimes I wonder if they are paid after the number of tickets...
Pleasant composition, narrow DOF works fine!

Pablo -
