[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took a portrait of this giraffe, But after developing the film I discovered that the head is hardly seen among the greaan trees background. I de-saturated the background but it is stil very hard to see it.
Thanks to this experiment I learned how effiecent are the white and brown spots - a perfect camouflage.

I wonder how it looks like without the destuartion. I looks good though. Very well-seen.
I think it is because of the similar patterns of the giraffe an dthe background.

Very nice post work - still maybe hard for this guy to hide ;-)

Great photo Yitzhak. It's a great work.

Well done

I can imagine that you had a hard time selecting the areas to be desaturated. It blends really well into the background. The desaturated ears look a bit odd though. And overall, the giraffe looks quite rusty ;-) Well done, Yitzhak.

Beautifully done Yitzhak. The colors and camouflage of this giraffe work so well with the desaturated background. Execellent choice. I love the expression on the face that you captured here. All very well done, impressive work. Very, very, nice.

Cool idea born out of desparation for clarity! I would never have thought of this for a giraffe. Mmmm... I wonder what it would have looked like it you had slightly overexposed the background and made it a pale blue tone??? Just kidding. He/She looks kind of surprised, but those soft warm eyes - that is what I really love about the giraffe!

Mabye not one of your best shots but still quit apealing. I'm not sure if the ears should be desaturated though. Part from that, the compo of the shot is nice.

Hey Yitzhak, I can't see the giraffe. (just kidding). Good idea with the desaturated background. works perfect here.

A great giraffe photo, Yitzhak, and good post-processing too. I like the colours on the giraffe and the tilt of its head. Well seen and captured.

The camouflage is still there, but just a bit--enough for your communication to be effective! I'm not sure I find the painterly effect all that effective, did you apply some kind of filter to this?
