[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was quite a pain let me tell you. Taken in the Gold Souk.(I think that is how to spell it)
First it was taken on bulb for I think it was 15 or 18 sec; with this little mini tripod(don't remember the name because it broke the day after I shot this and I threw it out)suction-cupped to the glass. I took 6 shots this was the best of them all. There was this harsh glare in the reflection in a lot of the other photo's.

Oh and in case your wondering what is in motion its those small crystal animals laced with gold and a lot gold chess pieces on the top spinning. I personally like the background. My friend Rob in this shot was quite helpful in keeping as still as he could.

* In PS7 I Cropped it and I added 4 adjustment layer, one for the background, one for his face one for the gold spinning I adjusted the hue and saturation in each layer in itself and I lighten his face and dodged it a little.
This was my second post on TE a while back, in case it looks familiar to some of you all. I think it belongs here TL. I hope you like it. Please tell me what you think.

I couldn't do that before on TE and I wanted to show you all the raw version of this.

It sure looks like Bob froze for 15 seconds ;-) Very good color and light setting in this shot, and I do like the motion blur a lot. Thanks for explaining what we're looking at here ;-) Well captured, Dave.

Dave, Your work turned out nicely. It's great to have the explanation of your efforets in PS7. Again, nicely done! Nice of Rob to pose for so long too :o) God's best to you, Tim

Thanks for the note Dave, it's great to know what one did with the photo, as for the image:-) very innovative and creative, I like the orange hues, the motion is excellent.

It is worth all the effort. Certainly GOLD! The lights are everywhere. It is shining all over. But you did manage to present a decent shot with a very good POV and DOF. Great.

I like the colors tones. The boy expresion it's great, too.

Great setting for this shot Dave! I like the effect it has. Almost reminds me of all the casino's - it could almost be a roulette table! Your friend looks quite intense with his pose, great job of keeping still. The technique sounds very interesting. Sorry about the tripod though! Thanks for sharing.

Without that face, this would just be a blur, but with it, we have a great reference to what is going on and story is being told . . .

Nice exposure Dave and thank you for the very detailed explanation of your PS7 work. IMO it would have been better without Rob in it...j/k(inside joke) :)
