Hi Nigel

great shot you have here of this narrow gauge railway. maybe you could have cropped a bit to the right as signal seems to be more dominant that the engine but hey..
good work
Ron

Magnifique photo bien construite et pleine de nostalgie.
Félicitations.

Well, this one could be used for the box cover of MS-trainsimulator or something like that.
Very nice capture, although I think contrast, colours and sharpness can use a bit of boosting.

Hi Nigel,

I knew where this was straight away before clicking the thumbnail, Wales is a real favourite place of mine you see :) I've never been on this train but have passed it many times on the road over the wall. The line looks even higher up from this side :)
Great composition here and the rails lead the eye in well. Excellent shot!

John

I like this composition Nigel. The signal is integral to the scene here and halts the eye going much beyond the oncoming train !

Good perspective with the rails, and they do lead you to the engine without a doubt. Not a fantastic day lightwise, but this is Great Britain LOL. To my eye, I think I want just a tad more sharpness and cannot fathom out why it isn't, because f/11 as quoted should be fine here.

Nostalgic scene Nigel, was a pleasure to view. Regards, Steve.
