[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ah we're drinking and we're dancing
and the band is really happening
and the Johnny Walker wisdom running high
And my very sweet companion
she's the Angel of Compassion
she's rubbing half the world against her thigh
And every drinker every dancer
lifts a happy face to thank her
the fiddler fiddles something so sublime
all the women tear their blouses off
and the men they dance on the polka-dots
and it's partner found, it's partner lost
and it's hell to pay when the fiddler stops:
it's CLOSING TIME
(L. Cohen: Closing Time)

The camerea set to a creative program called night mode, for lack of a tripod placed on a mantelpiece and released with self-timer. I did mean to get the two wallflowers and their body language in, and discovered afterwards the happy dancers disintegretaing, which brought me to Cohen and one of the greatest songs ever.
After that, it was just cropping and resizing.

:))))) Fav. song of mine - i will come back to this. - May I ask, why the CDN flag on the table, Prime Chrethien was in the dance? As i said, this is one of fav. song from Cohen, a great song with great music, the other on the same CD being Alexandra Leaving... (love the female vocal)Upheld by the simplicities of pleasure, They gain the light, they formlessly entwine; and radiant beyond your widest measure, they fall among the voices and the wine. This may have happened to the happy dancers of this 'soirée'.

Looks like some ghosts are dancing!
nice shot!it's a bit funny i think, but very active dancers!they seem to have fun.

Per!
I see 2 canadian flags, one on the table, the other is under the hand of a man on the left side of the picture. Great picture. Very good light and great movement.I love this song.
ziggy

Your slow shutter speed has brought us the dancers motion in a fun way. It's interesting how still and clear those who are sitting out the dance are

I really like this experiment Per. With the wallflowers setting still while everyone dances around them. The program worked nicely for you. :)
