There are several varieties of Helianthus annus, the famous sunflower, which pushes sometimes jusqu'à 3 m height. According to varieties', the flowers are yellow pale, yellow dark or reddish. C'est a giant plant with very fast growth whose flowers turn during the day, while following the trajectory of the sun. This large flower in the sun shape which, once at maturity, carries several tens of seeds. If l'on wants to obtain smaller flowers, with long stems, ideal to make bouquets, one cuts l extremity of the seedling as of qu'il reaches 1,50 m or as soon as the first flower is formed at the end of the stem. With l'endroit of the cut, two flowers will be formed that l'on will be able to cross again.

Closed !
That's a funny "other" view of the sunflower, nice shot, nice sharp, nice close-up, good colours and light, Daniele

Wow ! Bravo !

Great color balance and contrast .. Very good POV !!

Great shot Daniele, it is nice to see something different with the sunflower. Colour, composition and clarity are all very good.
Thanks for sharing.
Liz

J'aime beaucoup l'angle que tu as choisis. Il semble y avoir une légère démarquation autour de la fleur, je me trompe ou bien tu as changé le background? Belles couleurs.

Great low angle which emphasises the enormity of this flower. The sky background is very colourfull and clear. It appears these two images were blended together. If so, your post processing work is very good. Well done

An original approach of the sunflower. Havent seen it many times like this I must say!
Very well done!

Hello Daniele,

very good shot, the object is original, as it is still closed. The DOF is good. And the composition is very good with the tight framing. I only wonder if you did something with the sky as there are light lines around the leaves. Great entry :) Yours, Jan

I wish this were just a little sharper, Daniele, but I just love it. The colors are vibrant, and the composition simple and interesting.
