The Almirante Blanco is a naval vessel of Chile (I'll spare you the boring details). I had the prerogrative to sail with a combination of Dutch and Chilean sailors.
One morning we had to take people aboard who would be arriving with the RHIB (sort of rubberboat). The rising sun gave the ship a special color and I used a quiet moment (I had to shoo a couple of sailors though) to catch the shapes and lines of this warship.
People might think that a warship is only used to fight battles but that picture is totally wrong. Think about rescues at sea and counter drugs operations etc etc.
Well, the only thing I try to say is "Even items of war can be beautiful"
