I think cropping this tight would enhance the subject more and using a fill in flash would have brought more detail in the face. Lovely subject and pose however.

Very nice shot ! It is really a cute little foal, and I love it's attitude, he is looking directly at you. Composition is nice too, with water in the BG. Well done !
