Hello!
Here are one of the secret jewel of that wondeful city which is Kyoto.
These are Geishas walking in a narrow street near Kodaiji and Yasaka Jinja.
Sepia and old look for a picture out of time.
Regards, FRANCESCO

P.S. In WS the photo I started from.

wow! It is beautiful Francesco.. Love this grainy sepia and the Geishas overall!
Thanks for sharing

Fred

Hi Francesco,
I love this shot, wow, I realy feel like in older times. Excellent choice of black and white. Very well done, I like to see culture from other countries, special in Asia, thanks

Une belle image qui semble vraiment raconter une histoire! Le sépia est bien choisi, et le grain ajoute de la puissance a l'image comme si elle avait un grand vécu! Bravo!

Hello Francesco... I like the models and their details... Maybe the vertical composition could be used here to emphasize the mood... The upper and the lower part of the original one could also be added to the composition... Great work...

You did well on re-cropping this image, creating a very nice composition. The B&W works fine, but I find the grain a bit distracting. Still, a very nice image.

Very good decision on the crop to make these Japanese ladies come out of the frame and I almost feel I can touch them. Nice treatment to give it an old feel that goes well with their traditional dress. Well done!

Superb photo. POV, treatment, sepia, the grace of geishas, all together elements give a great atmosphere! Congrat! Annie

Hi Francesco,
An excellent photo. It brings us back to the old days. Your pp work and sepia effect are great. I love this photo because of the cultural element.

This must be one of the nicest Geiko photo I've ever seen. Believe me, I'm from Japan :) The sepia tone suites very well on this image. Very nicely composed. I like it a lot.

Hello Francesco,

Great shot like out of an old photo album

I really appreciate this photo. I spend days runing around Kyoto trying to capture just one Geisha. Excellent decision to give it the old look. Mike

Hi Francesco,
This is superb. I haven't seen it before. But I like it very much.

Francesco,

This is a lovely photo, I like you alterations on it. I am not so fond of the grainy aspect, but because you were going for an old photo, it really work.

Nice shot. [Favorite]
