Berlin Tegel Airport. Boarded and waiting for the pushback. Thunderstorm behind the terminal building, first sunrays from the back, creating a strange illumination. Glas covered stairways with peoples shilouettes behind, watching planes.
Some blown blots in the picture may be the result of a few raindrops on the plane window, taken as good as possible out of focus. Did several shots, but this one came out best.
Had a smooth flight though. |

Hi Werner,
Really nice light here, the building stands out well against the dark sky. Composition is quite good too. You are right about the blots. They almost look as though they could be out of focus foliage.
Well done,
Jako
It is the special light that makes this interesting. One idea might be to crop it slightly from the top in order to get rid of that distracting antenna on top of the tower.
I tried it by scrolling that part off my screen. I think it looks better that way.
thanks, BdM
I have decided to choose 2 photographs you have shared from nowadays: that's one of the best, because of high contrast, theme and tonalities in gold.
