Hi Joe. I dont know why but somehow looking at the thumbnail of this photo and reading it's country of origina suddenly reminded me of Sherwood (forgive me if the spelling is wrong) and Notingham and Robin Hood! I loved the movie. But back to your wonderful photo, it looks great in B/W, although I think it would have looked just as good in colours. Thanks for sharing. :)

Hi Joe,
I like the lines of this photo with these very tall trees. The POV is excellent and there is a lot of contrast but I find it rather dark with barely no details visible other then silhouettes. TFS

Good POV for the shot - the bank leading up from left to right really leads the eye along the picture. It looks good as a b&w study but I'd also like to see it in colour.
Thanks...Mark

Hello Joe,
welcome to TL!
Very nice 2 first posts, you seem to have a passion for BW :)
I like this one because of the mysterious mood, i just wish there was a bit more light on the ground, but anyhow well done!
regards
Marija:)

I like the high contrast and sense of rythm created by the patterns. It's kind of like nature's very own bar code :)

Hello Joe. Nice shot, excellent POV a well spotted photo opportunity. We are looking forward to seeing more of your photography. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!

Hi Joe,
Great contrast here..... Nicely presented in b&w! TFS!

I like the point of vue at which this picture is presented. It makes us feel the importance of trees in the ecosystem.
