Posted for the April-June Scavenger Hunt - "Jumping"
Originally shot and kept for the look of determination on my son's face whilst using a friends mini trampoline. For me the background was too busy and so rather than do anything with the moving figure I thought I'd blur the background (motion blur, 60 degrees, 80 pixels). Cropped to put him towards the top right of the picture and framed. Colours are all as the camera saw them. |

this is a great shot the blured background is a wonderful touch to the shot and really makes the picture come together.

Hi Mark,
I love the use of the motion blur setting off the determination of your son to jump as high as possible. This is a very nice technique, cleaning up what could have been a busy background and emphasizing the important; the sense of motion is wonderful.

The blured backgroud makes the pictre more vivid. I like the expression of the boy. It seems that he did jump with all his force and really have fine!
