Words fail when beauty is so overwhelming. This composition has it all. Romance with the tops of the trees embracing in the light, Ethereal overtures of Divinity, the dancing of darkness and light, textures to enjoy...yes, overwhelming.... :O)

I prefer this shot than #2 for the elaborated lighting. The long shadows of the trees add to the overall feel of the photo.

Very good... I cannot make a choice between the two photos you have uploaded. I think they both have rights to exist, but they have different expressions.

bravo superbe lumière , je préfère presque toujours les cadrages horizontaux , d'abord parceque cela correspond naturellement à notre champ de vision , ensuite pour ce cas la perspective est meilleure ;
en mode paysage , tu aurais peut dû décentrer la photo! mais c'est vraiment une trés bonne image , je comprends que tu en sois fier!

Quelle belle image en contre-jour et encore une fois fort bien réussie! Les lueurs et la tonalité générale créent une ambiance mystérieuse. Vraiment bien Bernard.

Personellement je préfère celle en mode paysager, car nous voyons plus le château et les autres arbres. Mais si je considère que le sujet principal sont ses arbres qui semble n'être que 1 cindé en 2 par le soleil, et bien celle-ci est mieux. J'ai une nette préférence pour les photo ou il n'y a pas que le sujet principal qui attire l'oeil quand c'est possible. Mais chacun ses gouts.
Belle photo et travail bien maitrisé. Super!

I see a lotof us are out shooting against the sun these days. There is something special about that low in the sky beginning to get weak October sun, isn't there? The long shadows and the tower on the castel make this one outstanding. I think I like the workshop best because it gives more of a landscape feel whereas this one concentrates too much on the trees. That sun needs a landscape to shine on.

Formidable...vous avez bien raison d'aimer cette prise. Elle est parfaite. Elle a beaucoup de verbe cette photo.
Mon choix se porterait sur la version « paysage ». Moins limitée, plus d'espace, comme des sons merveilleux dispersés dans une enceinte adéquate.
Cependant les 2 ont leur valeur intrinsèque.

Quelle stupéfiante photo Bernard ! J'aime vraiment beaucoup. Et je préfère en effet le format vertical qui renforce l'impression déroutante de ce cliché. La texture veloutée et les ombres portées sont magnifiques. Ce "trou" central lumineux est étonnant, inhabituel mais la photo est fascinante grâce à cela.

Others have said so much and it is all true. Very beautiful shot brother. I love this kind of tree and light effect. It has inspired me to post my shot from the woods near here. There is what in Latvian is called a "Nature Stage" in the middle of the forest here. And I took a picture I quite like there this last summer... Will post in a few minutes.

This photo really leaps out!The lighting is superb nothing has been to washed out by the light source and yet it looks so bright.I like the archway created by the trees.Looks like a tall doorway.

This is a stunning shot - the light through the trees is something I love to shoot but I've not achieved something as good as this. The mood of the image is awesome.

Sometimes people describe the entrance to haven as a tunnel with rays of light. There is an entrance port between the trees with rays of light. In the almost dead experience, the always say its was so beautiful. That shows the photo. That’s why is so high rated. Magnificent photo without doubt.
