This picture is taken in one of Moscow yards during a photorace. This is an illustration to a humourous song about fake beggars who "arrived in the city to restore their health, and were robbed out of documents and money".
The car in the back is 21st Volga (aged 45 or so, if I'm not mistaken). This vehicle was a dream of any soviet citizen, and still stays a dream - but now of the collectioners. My family also possesses this treasure, but this very one (perfectly preserved, by the way) was found by chance and served as a background of this composition. |

This is an attractive BW picture and kind of homorous considering the car's rather unusual shape and the facial expression of the model. The tones are also well taken. I however note that the gate at the right beside the car's wheel is abit distracting, I really don't know how you can avoid it, as cropping would cut the car's right headlight and moving to the right may alter the perspective. overall a well done,
