Oh yes, it surely look like painting, the noise in here didn't bother me as it suppose to be looking like painting, :P I like how the colour merging...very well captured Jeff, thanks for sharing. :)

Excellent photo with such great gradient colors in this beautifull patch of sky. The upper and lower cloud formation are excellent and I like the effect to see the difference between the two layers of clouds.

Did you photoshop in extra sharpening to this shot?

Superb compisition, a wonderful use of simplicity and colour- and that frame and the subtle titling/credit is quite suitable, and I usually dislike writing with images. The variations in darkness/lightness within the blue is exceptional- and I really like the clouds (I'm guessing) at the bottom of the image, a nice shade of gray/violet.
