[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
2 photos taken around Perigueux yesterday whilst I was out wandering… My aim was to get some small scale texture in a couple of macro shots.

Both were full of texture.

1 – Bark shot of a very large conifer tree.
2 – Sycamore blade on top of the inside of a piece of sycamore bark exfoliated from a tree.

These photos were then ‘post processed’ separately by playing with the light/saturation level curves (MSFT Digital Image).

The second photo was then inset and blended (by having pre-‘softening’ the edge).
The completed ‘shot’ was then framed using a ‘softened’ frame, resized for TL requirements and sharpened.

As a workshop, I will add how the shot would have looked like unprocessed.

Just a bit of fun, hope you enjoy!

Well done this is something I like to do and get artistic and interesting effects, think they should set up another site for the more experimental stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Salut Tim,
Kind of psychadellic work. Extraordinary and I like it.Well done. TFS Thomas
