[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just a nightly point to the moon and shoot.
Large noise removal, contrast enhancement, image has NOT been resized, just cropped the surrounding black night.
Used full 12x zoom.

I would liked to post this on TrekEarth but 'cause moon is not a place on Earth it seemed a bit misplaced...

Greetings from India,

nice shot! nice details!
using full 12x means approximatively 400mm??
Because that is the focal I used to shoot the moon with not so bad result but i was lucky. If so, I will know that 400mm is the ideal focal lenth.

tfs

Hi Alberto, Very good capture of the moon and useful note. If the original has plenty of space around it, maybe worth a WS with the moon off-set and in a corner. Congratulations. Murray.
