Here's another food photo from the same shoot as the previous. A pity i didn't spend more time on it.
As for this one, the food is fried calamari (chinese style). Could you have guess it from the photo btw?
Also, do u think it would look good being framed and on the wall?
Thanks for ur honest opinion TL mates :) |

Hi talisman
I like this food picture very much,
If I saw it on the wall in a chinese food shop I would like to buy calamari, so
very good dof, perfect colors and great compo!

I doubt if I will put it on my wall but in a restaurant it will work. It does look some Chinese fried item but it can be chicken, pork etc. Can't really tell with the batter around it. The chopsticks? on top adds to the overall image.

Composition is great, but as said by cleocat, it could "everything" fried. But the look is chineese, with these black chopsticks.
Thanks for making me soooo hungry! haha... great food shot. very professional. I couldn't tell what it was but I could tell that it was something fried. Very nice. JP
i think i like this better then the first photo bro :)
from a photographic and artistic POV, the composition here is better
i feel this would make an excellent series of photos (close-up food) but it may not look as good by itself on the wall, for that i would go with the first photo :)
love the depth at close range from the 60mm macro :)

Tamtam!
I prefer this crop to the other one. However, before reading your comments, I was wondering what it was... So, my answer to your question is NO! Too much batter I guess! :)
