[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot at the Halifax Public Gardens in Halifax, Nova Scotia on a recent family vacation to the area. The gardens are a wonderful example of an urban victorian garden. In addition to the many flowers, plants, birds and monuments, the Gardens have other features of interest. Some of these include the bandstand, the main gates and Griffin's pond. I cropped this shot and added a frame.

I am always being critizised with my frames but I must admit I find this frame too heavy for this delicate flower. What do you think?

Hi Paula,

Wow, hybiscus flowers usually red, pink, and white. The color of this one is great [I assume this is the true color of the flower]. Nicely cropped, making a good compo. Well framed. Superb close-up picture.

nice pic with very good framming work.
next time give more unfocused background around the main subject to give the pic a 3D filling.
