[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Next to the spectacular geyser Old Faitful, many other hot springs and geysers can be found in the vincinity of the old lady. Some are more active, others are sleeping and others are just out of action. This one is located on Geyser Hill and doesn't erupt anymore but has a continues flow of water and dissolved calcium and bicarbonate to the surface which gives the beautiful colores.

Yellow stone always have a very interesting environment and you have captured here beautifully Niek. Your composition gave a strong emphasis on the path leading to the hot spring. I like the colors. Have you change the color here? or any saturation has been done in PP? Saw something like this before from the old masters and it was a black&white and inspired me a lot to divulge into photography.

Even the cold water brings mineral! A long work but it cretes the caves who are so impressive to visit...
Here wa saw the end of the cycle... Nice! It look like a shot of another planet very hostile for life :)

wow niek, this is really beautiful, colors and texture is amazing.
excellent!
best regards!

Boy, no shortage of subjects for photos there! I like the way you placed the blue pool at the top and the complementary oranges cascading down from it. Nice sharp, well saturated image.

Thanks for sharing

Hi Niek,
This is a very good composition, and I choose to see this as an abstract image!
The image has strong qualities as a piece of art, a large copy in a frame on the wall would probably sell well... Another option is to transform to oil on canvas, well done that would look good too!
Another proof nature itself is a provider of fine art...
Greetings,

Wonderful POV. I love the color and texture making it very three dimentional. TFS.
