This is part of the interior of Wiblingen, a baroque monastory close to Ulm in Sothern Germany. It is an enormous church featuring beatiful fresco paintings on the ceiling (as can be seen in this picture). What fascinates me about baroque art is its preoccupation with theatrical effects and staging - just watch the angel supporting the big free standing oval frame fillen on both sides with paintings on biblical scenes.
I go often to this church and the angel's patience seems to do me well.
Hope it works for you! ;)
technical notes:
no changes expect from unsharp mask. Had to save it at lower quality to be able to upload it on TL |
