[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The church ND of the Assumption was built to replace the preceding one which fell in ruins by an Italian architect Antonio Spinelli between 1764 and 1778 and thanks to subsidies of the duke Charles Emmanuel III. The building materials and in particular the limestone hardcores cut in the careers of the St. Lawrence d' Eze, according to the oral tradition, were conveyed to the village with back of men free.
