the deep blue kinda sets you in a certain mood this shot is interesting I like the way composed it. I think it would be more dramatic if you would have showed a leading line of the rope tied up to the boat.

Once again Eric, you have captured this shot beautifully, the vivid sharpness and focus of the whole image is really great work. The texture of the rope is exceptionally sharp and detailed, as if to say, "I am an important asset to the boat", the contrasting colours are almost luminescent and are very exciting to the eye.

Compositionally very good, the warm color area in the background enhances the contrasts between blue and white colors.
Excellent shape contrast too between the curvy rope and the linear boat structures.

I've never been to Cinqueterre,- lots of european places i've never been to, anyway- many travelers report it's a magical place : is it really?

The colors are striking as is the mass of tangled rope. The condition of the latter suggests that the "captain" didn't graduate from the Italian naval academy...ha!Châpeau!
