Splash down, as the giant Erickson Air-Crane lowers its huge hose into the sea just off the beach.
These things have been flying all day to help put out the forest fires raging in Halkidiki 22/08/06!

Very nice picture. We can can see the difference of the horizon line and the trouble behind the air-carne.

Shutter speed is so so ! May be 1/1000 could be better.

very unusual photo with nice colors and good sharpness. maybe a tighter crop so there's not so much sky.
I like the shutter speed, it adds a nice dynamic effect on the back rotors. i would have used a lower one to get even more effect.
