Hi My dear friends,

A flower from Hamadan gardens with especial thanks to my dear friends TinTin(Suzanne Levasseur),
Perryhooter(Robert Calve),photograph2u(Yan Hay),harpya(Sergio Delmonico),jacobo(Jose Jacobo Campuzano),
denizler(Deniz Sen),
And all my friends around the world,
For thanking,

Thanks, all you for your kind notes for my pictures,
And all my works viewers,

==================================================

And about my picture:
I took it in one of Hamadan gardens,
It was noon, and I was under direct sun shine,
And also flower was, because of that sun I could take such a good "portrait"!! of a flower,
But this isn't whole the story,It has a lot of changes,

And some important changes in PS:

on main picture:
-Not resizing first,(beacause of Suzanne's Statement (TinTin))
-changing brightness levels by "levels",
-increasing contrast +5,
-increasing saturation +10,
-making flower more red and yellow by "variations",
-bluring background by "gaussian blur",
-cropping,(in the original picture flower was exactly in center)
-making arounds more dark,
-making the edges of flower more bright (for more shining),
for framing:
-I made the frame using seven layers,
-and three flowers are same to main flower,
-two small flowers on top have contrasts about 75 & 50,
-small flower blured a bit by "blur" tool,
-Resizing to fit TL standard,
-placing signature

(I posted original picture as a Workshop)

==================================================

I KNOW THIS IS A POSTAL CARD MORE THAN A USUAL PHOTOGRAPH,BUT IT'S JUST FOR MY FRIENDS...

Thanks for viewing my work(s),
Thanks for reading my note,
Thanks for your critique(s),

I wish you like this,
Be happy every year, every day, every hour, every minute & every second...

Ali...

You are so sweet and such a nice person, Ali. I am totally touched by your dedication and the work you did on this picture to create this beautiful card. You did amazing work on this flower and it would be interesting to see the original picture in the workshop so we can compare. I like the composition of the original picture and then your presentation work is very good as well, very artistic. I am wondering if the two small flowers at the top should have been place above the original picture like you did with the bottom one but I am not certain. Very well done!

P.S. I agree with you that post-processing these days is a much a part of photography as dark room manipulations were in the past. With software it is a little easier than the dark room work but it is the same. I am not in favour of manipulation to save a bad pictures but to enhance it and to create art from it I think it is quite appropriate. Obviously, being able to take a good picture right off of the camera and getting better at composing an image and understand the technique of photography is also very important. But I think you already know that. Thanks again for this nice card, I truly appreciate it.

Hello Ali, although I am not a fan of computer manipulated photos, you have explained the reasons behind it.. good pp work

Alaettin

Hello Ali,
You have a beautiful photo of a beautiful flower and you did a nice framing and PP work to it. I really like it. Good way to tribute your friends.
Best regards,
Valeria.

Well done and well said. You, sir, are a gentleman.
We are here to learn and anything someone does to a photo to make it even better gives us more opportunities to improve our own.
And this is a beautiful colorful well done picture.
Thanks.
Pierre

Hi ALi,

Excellent PP work. I do so admire the skills of those who persevere with the artistic side of photography. Excellent notes, excellent response to Yves. TFS,

Oh!!... that is fantastic, thank you very much
for the pleasant card, I am very happy
with that, I appreciate truly that here.
you are a beautiful person, a good boy.
Thank you very much for dedication and great work
in this picture, he was beautiful, this flower seems
that it is accesses, his nucleus is very beautiful.
And I make my words of Robert(Perryhooter), me also
I am just an I photograph learning with weight photographers in the knowledge.
I always hope to contribute with the little I know, and this little one
and a lot that I learned I owe the personnel here, because when I associated
in TL, me nothing knew about pictures. I thank all and you, because with you
I also learn a little more. Thank you very much my friend.
I am happy with his beautiful gesture, very nobleman of his part.
great hug

Hello Ali: very nice and imaginative work indeed. Robert nailed it with his comment, which is echoed by more of your friends, and I agree (I have lately taken the pp to a level that would surely bring on the wrath of Yves...). Thanks by the way for your WS on my Lady of the Falls, I just now found it going over my posts.
Keep up the good work: great artistic stuff.
Cheers
Otto

Great shot with great colors, lighting & also PP work. And also bravo for your response to Yves. Thank you.
Good luck & keep on improving.

Hello Ali !

Well, my friend you deserve my admiration for your diplomacy here! Bravo ! You are indeed a gentleman.

Now, I might add also this is Treklens. and it is indeed made to present also that type of PP work, and it is open to creativity , and original works. Should Yves, be more interested in straight untouched pictures, Trek Earth could be more suitable for what he is looking for.

Being one of the lucky members, receiving this card, I must admit, like my colleagues, I am always extremely happy to help a member, a friend giving tips and critiques. We are all here for the pure pleasure of sharing knowledge. I have learned quite a few things , since I joined last year. It is pleasant to be coached by more experienced photographers like Magda, Paul, Ben. I am not a pro, just an enthousiast, for more than 30 years. And I like to give my modest contribution and help as often as I can, for people opened to receive help and constructive critiques.

Respect between members, is indeed required here. Insults are certainly not a way to earn respect from others. Yves you are a young member. It will not lead you anywhere to have such an agressive attitude.

Now Ali, about your card, it suits perfectly the reason of this website. It is indeed more like a painting, an artistic impression, but a very good PP work.

Well done , and thank you for your kind words not only to TinTin(Suzanne Levasseur), Perryhooter(me , ''moi'' (^_^)), photograph2u(Yan Hay),harpya(Sergio Delmonico),jacobo(Jose Jacobo Campuzano),¸denizler(Deniz Sen), and all yourfriends around the world , but also for your kind reply to Yves.
Sincerely,
Robert

This is a wonderful composition. I like it a lot. The richness of the colours is beautiful.

Hi Ali!
I love both this picture and the original one. The flower seems emiting life from inside, a very appropriate subject for a card. Well done w/ the pp.
Enjoy life to the fullest, always!
Freddie :)

Ari, I love what you've done here with a simple flower. You have created a very dramatic effect and perspective by adding the frames and copies of the original flower. I also want to thank you for such detail in the changes you made. It helps me learn different techniques. I also agree with Robert and what many others have said here. What you have done is art. GREAT shot and I've added it to my favorites. Linda
