Still at the Augusta Rodeo. After the horses, cows and calfs, it was time for the barrel race. The horses used for this kind of sports are Quater Horses. Known for the fast sprint and sharp turns.

PP talk: same as the rest of the rodeo series.

Salut superbe l'explosion de terre, le temp s'arrete pour voir la musculature du cheval avec une trés belle lumière

hi Niek,
you achieved good focus on this action shot. detail is very good.

Daniel

Hi Niek,
Excellent action shot my friend.
I like your pov,dof,colors,focus,sharpness,frozen action moment and framing.Well Done.TFS
Chris

Man! Now that is some action shot! I love it. One has to feel a little sorry for the horses. You'd think they'd break those thin legs. I really like the drama and action in the foreground while the audience looks sort of "ho hum"!Terrific sharpness and presentation.

Evelynn : )

That’s a brilliant picture…. You should not use a frame for the sides becos it indicates the speed of horse.
The splash of mud is great and lively…

Another excellent picture from this series at the rodeo, Niek. You manage to take quite a number of great shots. This is very good as it gives great idea of the action and the work done by the horse. Well done!

Hi Niek, I keep going back to your rodeo images. This is another great one. You have caught the action really well, and the dust and dirt is flying high! Excellent!
Janice

Hi Niek,
I love the action and suspense in this shot. I haven't read the PP notes on all the other rodeo shots, but I'm assuming the color on the subjects is enhanced or desaturated on the background--very effective!
All the best,
Karen
